Local Bus Routes

If you have decided upon your walk which begins (or ends) outside of the town then consider leaving your car and taking a local bus. This easy to use (and relatively cheap) method of transport relieves the stresses and strains of driving, having to find parking, then returning after a strenuous day on the fells. (This is also great if you merely want to go sightseeing!)

Borrowdale Rambler - Keswick to Grange, Rosthwaite and Seatoller

Caldbeck Rambler - Keswick to Bassenthwaite, Ireby, Carlisle, Caldbeck

Honister Rambler - Keswick to Lorton, Buttermere, Honister, Seatoller, Grange & Portinscale

Keswick Town Service - Keswick to Portinscale and Threlkeld
