Getting to Keswick - By car, bus, train & airport transfer

Keswick is situated in the Northern Lake District in Cumbria and is easily reached by car, train or bus. Keswick is only 15 miles from the M6 Motorway and mainline railway station at Penrith and is within 3 hours drive of five of Britains main airports - Glasgow, Newcastle and Manchester, Leeds and Liverpool.

 

You can travel to the Lake District with Virgin trains who run the main railway line from London to Glasgow. The trains frequently stop at Penrith, Oxenholme or Carlisle and there are buses which then travel to Keswick.

 

Alternatively there are coaches which run from the majority of cities passing through Cumbria. Most bus routes head through the Central Lakes and Keswick.
