 This 18 hole golf course (6225 yard, par 71) is situated 4 miles East of Keswick at the village of Threlkeld, just off the main road to the motorway and Penrith (the A66). There are magnificent views of Blencathra, Skiddaw and Clough Head (the course actually sits at the base of Clough Head on Threlkeld Common).
There is a bar, restaurant and pro shop and the golf professional is on hand for lessons or bookings. Clubs are available for hire on request. Thursday is Ladies Golf day. There is an extensive practice area including a 300 yard practice hole, chipping and putting greens.
