Keswick Jazz Festival
The Keswick Jazz Festival sponsored by Jennings Brewery features
more than 90 jazz events in Keswick and the surrounding area.
There are multiple venues showing a wide range of Jazz styles
from traditional to modern. These different venues range from
bars in the town centre to the Alhambra cinema, hotels, churches
and the even Theatre by the Lake.
The jazz festival extends onto the actual streets of Keswick.
Various bands actually play on street corners which adds to the
unique carnival atmosphere. There are day tickets available, or
for the full experience purchase a 'stroller' three day pass allowing
you into any event.
For the venues surrounding Keswick, there is a free mini bus
which regularly runs the 'Jazz route'. Due to the popularity of
the event it is advisable to book early to avoid disappointment.
Event details are available from The Carnegie Theatre. There
is a festival souvenir programme available listing the years events
from mid April.
