Whinlatter Forest Park

to 790 metres above sea level Whinlatter Forest Park offers spectacular
views of the Lake District and into Scotland. There are many trails
and paths for both walkers and mountain bikers, all which are
clearly marked.
At the centre itself (North West of Keswick on Whinlatter Pass
heading to Lorton) there is a visitor centre, shop and tearoom
(excellent homemade cakes). There are also 4 picnic sites, a Forest
Classroom available for hire, education service and the amazing
Lake District Osprey Project Live Feed (click

There is car parking and disabled facilities.
