Keswick Market Day - Keswick Victorian Fayre
 Saturday
is market day in Keswick. The stalls set-up from 6am around the
Pedestrian centre (around the Moot Hall) and finish at approximately
4:30pm.
There is a wide range of goods and local
produce including a quality second hand book stall (beside Ye
Old Friars), clothes, shoes, bric-a-brac, an excellent cake and
pie stall (opposite Woolworths), DIY, cheeses and farm produce,
jewellery, fruit and veg, a fishmonger and much more.
In Summertime the streets are full and
extra stalls try to expand the market down towards the Post Office.
The Victorian
Fayre is on December 1st. This spectacular annual event
involves market traders and lively locals dressing up in Victorian
costume. There are appropriate goods for sale (lovely food and
drinks!) and great support for local charities.
