Ashness House is a traditional Lakeland green slate town house with four bedrooms, two bathrooms, two lounges on seperate floors and a homely kitchen suitable for large families / groups of up to 8 people.
The four bedrooms are over three floors, two doubles (one which is en-suite), and two twin bedrooms. The attic room provides views over Keswick towards the North Lake District fells.
Outside there is a small walled garden fronting onto the Ratcliffe Place square and to the rear there is a shared yard with an outhouse for storing bicycles.
Heated by gas central heating Ashness House provides a 3 Star Visit England standard of accommodation for large families or groups of walkers.
The house is situated in a quiet Conservation Area close to the town centre. Fitz Park is 200 yards away and Derwentwater is a short walk via the Churchyard footpath.
