Sandhills is working farm with its farmland on the shores of Bassenthwaite Lake so the location is idyllic for visitors to the Lakes. Many walks can be started from the farm including Dodd Wood, Ullock Pike and Skiddaw and we are also on a good bus route. We are a only a short walk away from St Begas Church and the local historic house and gardens of Mirehouse as well as the now famous Osprey Viewing Point.
Each of the three luxury bedrooms has an LCD tv with DVD player, alarm clock with iPod dock, hairdryer and complimentary tray with homemade biscuits. Begin the day with a cooked or contintental breakfast and being a working farm we pride ourselves on fresh Cumbrian produce. Guests are welcomed with homemade cakes on arrival.
Sandhills Farm is approximately 3 miles from Keswick, close to Bassenthwaite Lake just off the A591. From Keswick, follow the A591, when you get to Mirehouse, Sandhills Farm is approximately 400 yards on your left.
