The majority of caravan parks and campsites are either on the outskirts of Keswick or close to one of the nearby villages. Borrowdale Valley has some excellent campsites, ideal for families and walkers enjoying the Lakeland fells. Keswick, Braithwaite and Bassenthwaite are more accessible and therefore the location of most caravan parks (including a few camp sites):
