Description: Broadness Cottage offers self catering accommodation close to Bassenthwaite Lake four miles from Keswick. Located within the grounds of Broadness farm, the self catering cottage has tremendous Lakeland panoramic views of Skiddaw and the surrounding Lake District fells and vales. The cottage comfortably sleeps 2 to 7 people.
Broadness cottage consists of three good sized bedrooms (a double, a twin and a family room with a double and single bed), a comfortable lounge with woodburning stove, television & welsh dresser, a well equipped kitchen, a dining area and a family bathroom with bath, seperate shower and w.c. There is private parking for all guests.
The farm and adjoining land is owned by the Hodgson family. The land runs all the way to the shore of Bassenthwaite Lake (only 100 yards away!) where you are welcome to take walks, have picnics and enjoy the stunning views over the Lake District countryside (where you may also see the local Ospreys).
