Description: Bridge Cottage is a comfortable, modern, three bedroomed self catering cottage in the pretty Lake District village of Braithwaite, near Keswick on Derwentwater in Cumbria. The cottage overlooks Coledale Beck and you can enjoy the tranquility of rural Lakeland, with superb views of Skiddaw, and wonderful walks straight from the door.
The cottage is ideally suited to self catering and includes all the appliances you would expect from home - television, video, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave etc. The property is centrally heated and has an open (gas effect) fire in the cosy living room. There is also private parking.
The village sits at the mouth of Newlands Valley and below Whinlatter forest (the only mountain forest in England). Bassenthwaite Lake and Derwentwater are both within five minutes drive from the property and Borrowdale is close by so there are many activities for all ages near to the cottage.
