Description: Allerdale House is an interesting and impressive Lakeland stone building built around 1877 for a local dignitary. It offers full en suite accommodation with all the facilities associated with a small personally run guest house.

Situated in a quiet residential area and less than five minutes walk from the interesting Keswick town centre where you will find variety of eating places, shops and visitor attractions.

Derwentwater is just a few minutes walk away where you can walk, hire a boat, take a trip on the launch or attend a performance at the Theatre By The Lake. Castlehead is a stroll away with fantastic views over Derwentwater, Bassenthwaite and the surrounding fells.

We offer single, double, twin and family accommodation. All six bedrooms are en suite and have recently been refurbished. They have been tastefully decorated and are comfortably furnished with colour television, hospitality trays, hairdryers and complimentary beauty items. Our larger, superior rooms offer extra comfort with large bath/shower rooms and have a comfortable seating area.

We are a great base for a relaxing holiday at any time of the year so whenever you stay you can experience the peace and tranquillity of the Lake District National Park.
